Places I Hang Out
- Something Fishy
As someone who is recovering from an eating disorder, I have
found this site to be the most up-to-date, the most informative, and
the most fun. It has helped me to make positive steps toward recovery
by providing a safe place to explore the issues behind my eating disorder.
Also, they have put out a really cool cd called LIFE in LowFi
that is one of my favorite cds.
- Body Image Betrayal & Related Issues
This site has some really good information on coping tecniques
as well as dealing with feelings. It is also one of the most gut-level
honest sites there is that deals with rape, therapy abuse, and domestic
violence.
- Magnetic Poetry
This is a great place to get the poetic juices flowing or just have
a few laughs. It's just like the magnetic poetry you see in the bookstores
but it's online. I love it mostly because I always have a tendency to come
up with the strangest poetry. Try it, you'll like it!!
- Camp SARK
If you haven't bought the Journal and Playbook, you simply NEED
to get it. Everyone needs time to be a child (even as adults). So, get out
your crayons, dust off your imagination and let yourself have some much
deserved playtime.
